Our young beneficiary explored how everyday phrases from Mom carry different emotional meanings. Using clay, he created a striking tile with a bold white face outlined in black, bared teeth, and two contrasting horns — one yellow, one blue — surrounded by vibrant color blocks and symbolic marks.

Through guided reflections, he shared his thoughts:

“Do your homework.” → “I need to hand it in.” (Recognizing responsibility)

“No more YouTube today.” → “I lost control.” (Awareness of screen habits)

“It’s time to sleep.” → “I can’t sleep.” (Acknowledging sleep challenges)

“Don’t talk to me like that.” → “I was rude.” (Recognizing tone and respect)

“Clean up your things.” → “To be tidy.” (Understanding routines)

“Let’s go for a walk.” → “Don’t know.” (A step towards seeing walks as regulation & bonding)

This creative process helped him connect emotions with behavior, revealing both his growing self-awareness and areas still needing support. Each color, symbol, and expression reflects his internal dialogue — a powerful bridge between feelings and understanding.
