HeArt Palette

Where Words Fall Short, Art Speaks Loudest.

At Soul HeARTful, we know not all pain fits into words—and healing doesn’t always start with a conversation. HeARTful Palette Art Psychotherapy brings personalised, home-based art therapy to children, youth, and individuals navigating emotional, developmental, behavioural, neurodivergent, mental-health, intellectual, or physical challenges.

Who we support

At Soul HeARTful, we believe healing through art is for everyone. We welcome:

  • Children and youth – including those navigating emotional ups and downs, learning differences and neurodivergent conditions

  • Persons with disabilities (PWDs) – across physical, intellectual, sensory, and neurodivergent conditions

  • Adults – who may be experiencing stress, burnout, trauma, or mental health challenges

  • Seniors – seeking self-expression, and meaningful connection in their later years

  • Anyone who longs for a safe, creative space to explore feelings, find resilience, and rediscover joy

How it helps
Through structured, art-based interventions, participants explore feelings at their own pace, building:

  • Emotional expression and self-awareness

  • Coping skills and resilience

  • Communication and confidence

How it works
Our therapists come to you—bringing creative tools, clinical insight, and gentle guidance to the comfort of home. Sessions are tailored to individual goals, with collaboration (where appropriate) alongside families, caregivers, or educators.

Inclusive by design
While our roots are in supporting children and youth, we’ve expanded in response to heartfelt requests from families and individuals beyond this age group. Staying true to our belief in leaving no HeART behind, we welcome clients of any age or ability.

Begin the journey
If you or someone you love could benefit from art-based healing at home, we’re here to walk alongside you.

Because healing doesn’t always begin with words—sometimes, it begins with colour. 💛

Learn More about what we do

The Process

Initial Stage

Parents of children and youth with autism can contact Soul HeARTful through our website to express interest in the service. During this stage, we will gather some basic information about their child and the specific concerns or goals they have in mind.

Preliminary Consultation

Once we receive the inquiry, we’ll schedule a brief phone or Zoom consultation to further discuss the child’s needs and expectations from art therapy. This step helps ensure that the service aligns with the child’s developmental goals and that the family feels confident moving forward with an assessment.

House Visit and Assessment

Our therapist will conduct a home visit to meet your child in their familiar environment, ensuring a comfortable and supportive setting. During this visit, the therapist will engage with your child through creative play and informal conversation, observing their behaviours, communication patterns, and preferences. This assessment helps the therapist better understand their strengths, challenges, and areas where art therapy could positively impact them.

Customized Art Therapy Plan

Based on the assessment, our therapist will create a 6-session cycle tailored art therapy plan designed to meet your child’s specific needs. This plan will outline various art activities and creative interventions aimed at improving their emotional expression, social skills, sensory processing, and overall well-being. The plan will also include strategies for integrating art-making to enhance the child’s quality of life.

Six-Session Therapy Cycle

The therapist will carry out the therapy through six structured sessions, each lasting approximately one hour. These sessions are conducted in your home, providing a safe and comfortable space for your child to explore their creativity and express their emotions. Each session builds on the last, gradually working towards specific therapeutic goals.

Review and Feedback

After the completion of the six-session cycle,  the therapist will hold a review session with you to discuss your child’s progress. We’ll reflect on what’s been working, what challenges remain, and how the therapy has impacted their emotional and social development.

Continuation, Taking a Break or Adjustment of Therapy

Based on the review, we can either continue with another six-session cycle, adjust the therapy plan as needed, introduce new art therapy techniques tailored to further support your child’s growth or take a break. Regular check-ins and updates will ensure the therapy evolves with your child’s changing needs.
