💌 How It All Started: One HeARTful Letter, One Painted Canvas

Mailing HeART Collective began with something beautifully simple: one HeARTful letter and one painted canvas.

​

The letter carried words of hope. The canvas expressed feelings through colour. Together, they showed us that creativity does not have to be complicated to be meaningful, and that the talents of persons with disabilities deserve to be seen, valued, and shared.

​

That small beginning inspired a bigger question:

What if one letter and one painting could become a meaningful employment opportunity?

​

From there, Mailing HeART Collective began to take shape.

​

Each month, our contributors will create around a special theme through letters, poems, encouraging messages, and simple reflective artwork. Their original creations will be carefully scanned and reproduced, allowing their work to reach many mailboxes without placing excessive physical demands on them.

​

Our team will then print, assemble, quality-check, and pack each envelope with care. Depending on the package selected, subscribers may receive letters, postcards, artwork, stickers, handwritten affirmations, reflection prompts, and other thoughtful keepsakes.

 

What begins as one person’s words or brushstrokes can become something much greater: paid work, growing confidence, creative development, and a sense of purpose.

We are starting small, with the hope that your support will help us grow into a larger collective and create flexible, meaningful employment for more persons with disabilities.

​

Because when joy arrives in your mailbox, it has already opened a door in someone else’s life.
